Virginia Beach, once again sets itself apart from our competition by offering a bicycle trail that runs the length of the boardwalk and is open to riders all day long. Other oceanfront resorts only offer bicycle riding early in the morning or not at all. In addition to the boardwalk, Virginia Beach has literally hundreds of miles of off-street bicycle trails that run all over the city. Many of our bicycle trails have won awards for their natural beauty. If you can't bring your bicycle with you to Virginia Beach, not to worry. Most hotels and many shops along Atlantic Avenue rent bicycles by the hour, day or week.
